Alexandra Dziedzic, M.S., LCAT, ATR-BC is a psychotherapist, licensed creative arts therapist, and board certified art therapist, who provides therapeutic services to children, adolescents and adults who experience or have experienced:

 

  • Issues adjusting to changes/challenges

  • Low self-esteem

  • Depression and other Mood Disorders

  • Anxiety

  • Relationship struggles

  • Attention difficulties (ADHD, ADD)

  • Behavioral issues

 

 

Alexandra’s clinical approach is informed by behavioral therapies, supportive therapy and creative arts therapy.  She utilizes both verbal and nonverbal techniques to help her clients gain insight into maladaptive thought and behavioral patterns that interfere with their quality of life and achievement of personal goals. Alexandra assists her clients to build self-awareness and necessary skills to improve their ability to self-regulate thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, as well as coping with life’s stressors. Alexandra values and provides a safe, supportive environment for her clients to engage in this collaborative process to help them achieve personal goals and improve their quality of life. 

 

Alexandra received her M.S. in Art Therapy and Counseling from the College of New Rochelle (CNR).  She holds a license as a mental health practitioner in the state of New York and is registered and board certified by the national organization Art Therapy Credentials Board.  Ms. Dziedzic has been practicing psychotherapy and art therapy for 10+ years. Her experience ranges from working with adults, teens and children with mental health issues.  

 

Alexandra is currently offering individual therapy sessions. Her offices are located in New York City, Midtown East Manhattan and Pelham, New York (lower Westchester County).
